I’m not sure if anyone else has experienced their MIL being uninvolved throughout their pregnancy. Like for example, mine has not asked if we need anything or even asked me personally how I am unless she sees me in person and never asks about appointments. My mom has bought numerous things for our daughter and has been involved in what happens at the appointments. Obviously it isn’t all about what someone can buy you, but I’ve had people who can’t offer much make things and that means just as much. I feel like being that she is going to be a grandma she should be a little more involved. But instead, she asks my boyfriend to help her pay her bills when we are trying to save money. Now all of a sudden she wants to make a comment on a baby update I posted on my Facebook saying “We are ready 💜”. Maybe I am being ridiculous, but I am so irritated by it. My mom has more than been apart of it and his dads side has been more than a part of it to, but not her. I really just needed to rant somewhere to get it off my chest because my boyfriend doesn’t see the issue I do.
