PSA: you deserve it

Can I just take a minute to say: YOU DESERVE TO BE A MOM (or whatever you identify as - parent, surrogate, baby maker, etc)

Plus size, or slim - doesn’t matter

And on that note, there’s no award for having a complication-free pregnancy!

I see so many people post about “I’m plus size BUTTTTT no gestational diabetes” (or high BP, or complications etc). And, that’s great ...

BUT

IF YOU DO ITS OK! It doesn’t make your pregnancy less worthy or less successful, being “complication free” doesn’t make you better.

We all get the ultimate prize at the end: a child!

(I just want to briefly add that some pregnancies don’t end with a healthy baby, and that is devastating, I don’t want to omit that or take away from that journey either. Those moms are also deserving, worthy, and incredible!)

To all the people growing tiny humans, regardless of what you look like, how you feel, what you experience, or the outcome... YOU are amazing. You are beautiful.
