Worrying myself to death

Let's start with some info... I found out I was pregnant on 1/30 with a hpt, called and made a Dr appt for 2/4. LMP was 12/21 and I had a positive opk on 1/6. On 2/1 I had some bright red spotting when I wiped after using the restroom. So I called the Dr's office and they had me come in. I should have been about 6 weeks at that time, but they were unable to see anything on the US, so they did some bloodwork. At this point I'm a little discouraged because I thought it was over before it even began. I hadn't even told my husband yet. He was out of town and I wanted to tell him face to face when he got home. The bleeding continued, but was only when I wiped and started to look more brown. By 2/4 it was more like a light period, very light bleeding and dark red. My HCG level on 2/1 was 42 and repeated on 2/4 at 107. So they are doubling like they should be, but I'm still having light bleeding. 😔 Should I be concerned? I've spoke to my Dr's office and they don't seem to be too concerned. Has anyone else gone through this and everything ended up fine?
