My first ultrasound was at 12 w that was when we announce it.

I told my husband the day I tested positive. And we told our immediate family- parents, siblings, grandparents around roughly 5/6 weeks. We figured if by chance something went wrong or we miscarried we would want there support/help. We told aunts/uncles/cousins/friends after our 12 week ultrasound.

I told my parents and sisters, and in-laws at 8 weeks. The way I looked at it was if I was to go through a loss, who would I want to turn to for support. I 100% would have needed them if worst came to worst. Whenever you’re comfortable!!

Right away with my first, I was six weeks. I’m 5 weeks as well, already had an u/s done. I go back at 8 weeks to check the heartbeat and I’m considering waiting until then :)
