Birth control and ovulation

I used the birth control patch for one month. After using the patch for 3 weeks It was supposed to be removed Sunday to start my free week and have my period. I took it off Saturday evening, started my period Tuesday, and was supposed to put the patch back on Sunday but decided I didn’t like it and didn’t want to be on birth control anymore. How would that affect my ovulation and fertility the following month?
