When to start testing for ovulation???

So guys I’m very new at this! I took provera for 10 days I had my cycle from Jan 26th to Jan 30th I took femera 2.5 mg days 3-7. I started testing for ovulation day 10 and glow days I’m ovulating but everything had been nothing but negatives. I chose the opk my doctor told me to buy but I keep getting negatives.. am I testing to soon? Should I try different OPKs? It’s my first cycle and like all of us we just want a baby. I just want to know if I’m doing something wrong. Any advise ladies?
