My boyfriend is deployed. He’s been gone for a little over a month. He texted me this afternoon..

I was pretty upset when he told me and now I can’t stop thinking about it. I don’t get how he doesn’t know whats okay and what’s not while you’re in a relationship. I’m just nervous he’s gonna ask me is this okay and it actually isn’t. I’m probably just over thinking and being over emotional due to hormones. Some positivity and advice would be nice.

girl i would be PISSED if he asked me if it was ok. it seemed like he was asking if it’s ok to grind with a girl, not if it was considered cheating. and him saying chill was disrespectful. just talk to him about how you weren’t ok with him saying that.

I think ta talking about your boundaries is a great thing. Don't just assume someone should know something, you have to be an adult and talk about things. It seems like when that happened he felt guilty, even though he stopped it immediately. He told you about it, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I think he just needed a recheck of the boundaries.   I mean I know plenty of people that go out dancing and have danced with other people while in relationships.   As long as he sets the expectation that nothing more than a dance.

i think that’s super disrespectful. if he loves you and is serious about your relationship, he would have no interest in dancing/ grinding with other women.
