I was molested as a child and now have PTSD. My partner wants sex way more than I do and im just wondering if its normal to have a lower sex drive when dealing with sexual trauma/ PTSD?

For sure! If my husband touches me a certain way I can get uncomfortable, he doesn’t mean to cause harm it’s just from my trauma.

Meant to hit yes. I was molested when I was 6, so I didn’t even kiss a guy until college. That guy ended up raping me and then I wanted to have a bunch of sex with people to try to forget. Wanting sex or not wanting sex due to trauma can both be normal. Everyone is just different. I’m just glad I see a therapist now and I’d honestly suggest seeing one. I didn’t realize how much my childhood trauma had affected me until I did start going to therapy.
