When to start introducing bottles?

I will be ebf for the first few weeks. Just wondering when I can start alternating from breast to bottle? Will still be using breastmilk but would like to introduce the bottle early on so that it's easy for baby to go on the bottle once I go back to work.x

Recommendation is to establish breastfeeding for 4-6 weeks before pumping or introducing a bottle.

My LC recommended starting as soon as possible to avoid the baby refusing the bottle. She said to start around 2-3 weeks at the latest.

We started at 3-4 weeks just 1-2 bottles a week. He only had 2oz in them. I’ve heard a lot of people wait too long then baby doesn’t want anything

My LC also recommended introducing at 3/4 weeks. We did and it went smoothly! We use Avent Natural with the size 0 nipple still at 7 months. Just remember to pump when baby has a bottle to keep your supply regulated.
