So my period is 42 days late as of today and I went to hospital over a car wreck and for X-rays they had to do a pregnancy test to be safe and it was negative but I hadn’t had my period for a while and I told them. Well it was negative so I said okay and that was that. Well a few days (maybe a week) I got a really bad upper respiratory infection and had to go back and get chest X-rays. Well they asked if I had gotten my period yet and I said no so they ran another test. It came back barely positive and so they waited about two hours and had me pee again (every test was just a urine test btw) and they said my second one was negative. I was confused but still said okay. I tested at home three times the past two weeks and my first test was a faint line but it was clearly visible by both me and my fiancé. Well I took a picture of my test and sent it to one of the nurses I work with (I’m a CNA) and she even said it looked positive. Well I pricked my finger and tested with my blood and there was a line show up but my blood was so dark it was hard to tell if it was a positive result or the blood stained but honestly idk how it could’ve because it didn’t have a mark anywhere else. I tested again today and it looked like a vvfl but it could’ve been a shadow or indent line. Should I wait things out and test some more in about a week or make a doctors appointment and get bloodwork done? Has anyone else had any issues like this and if so what did you do? My period is NEVER late and it normally last around 4-5 days but I haven’t any bleeding in a while so I’m not sure what to do. Please help.
