Is it intrusive/nosey?

A girl on Instagram has a cute family in Arizona. Her youngest baby is about a year old and has eczema. When she posts pictures of him, sometimes you can tell, and earlier today, she posted a picture where it looked like he had really bad scratches on the side of his face. Well, someone asked what happened to him, in obvious concern and seemed oblivious to his eczema, and she posted it saying she was sick of people “asking stupid questions” and made a video rant, saying she views it as “intrusive” and “nosey” that people ask, so they should just mind their business about it. Is it intrusive to ask?
