Sensitive nipples!

Ok so my hubby loves to play with my nipples he says they are one of his favorite things to touch on me. Sometimes he doesn't even do it in a sexual way. Like we will be laying in bed talking and he's just softly running his fingers across them. But my nipples are so fucking ticklish like he can barely touch them and I freak out because it tickles so much and I feel bad because he gets sad when I won't let him touch them. So how can I make them less sensitive?
