Anyone ever switch their OB after becoming pregnant?

I am about five weeks pregnant and have not confirmed with a doctor yet, but I would like to switch my OB (for personal reasons) and I’m not exactly sure where to start. Does anyone have any insight?

Never with both my pregnancies but this one I might have to switch bcuz I’ll be moving a bit further away and I don’t drive so my walking distance will be out the door

I switched at about 27 weeks because I moved from Oregon to California. If I wanted to switch now I'd be pretty sol because we have 3 doctors in the same office and they are the only doctors unless I wanted to drive an hour

I switched my OBGYN right away there whole system changed they didn’t even have a dam Doppler to hear the baby’s heart beat 🤦🏼‍♀️ my sister in laws referred me to their current OBGYN and she’s great!!! Do research love and you’ll find one 😊

I did with my second. You just call whatever ob you want to switch to and they should get the transcripts from your old ob. I would just call and say you want to switch and see what their process is

I switched at 27 weeks. Research some doctor's in your area and what hospital they deliver at and if they accept your insurance and make an appointment

With my first I switched to a midwife at about 32 weeks

Thank you ladies! I called the hospital I would like to deliver at and they offered to let me meet all the doctors in March so I can pick the one I’m most comfortable with. Soooooo relieved!!! ❤️
