El Chapo Drug Trial

So I’m sure most of you have seen the news the Mexican drug lord was found guilty on all counts...

There were a few questions that came up while reading about this

1. Would you have served as a juror on this case? (Jurors identifying information was shielded from the defense, prosecutors, and the press)

2. Jurors were transported to the courthouse by federal marshals. The defense argued this gave him the impression of being dangerous lol before he was proven guilty. I mean personally I feel like safeguarding these people was probably necessary and that’s the reason why they were granted protection but do you think they have a point here?

3. I don’t think they were seeking the death penalty but he will probably get life in prison. What in your opinion would be good punishment?
