Spotting before or after ovulation??

Following. I’m wondering this myself as Glow predicted my ovulation day to be 5/3 (CD 17), I started with pink discharge that progressively got darker till yesterday, but never enough to need a pad/tampon. I’ve never had midcycle bleeding before. It was mainly only when I wiped and never got dark red, just a light red to pink and then mostly light brown yesterday. We BD on 5/5 so I’m wondering if I missed my optimal time. I can’t find anywhere that answers if ovulation occurs before the spotting, during or after.
