Did/would you allow kids 2 and under at your baby shower?

Hi all. My baby shower guests are asking if they can bring their LO to my baby shower because they can't find sitters... They're all pretty young. All <2yo. How would you feel about this?

I know it’s preference, but I find it silly that someone wouldn’t allow small children at a party celebrating a small child (baby) lol. If I couldn’t bring my child who is 18 months, I couldn’t go.

I would. I mean if I was going to one and they told me not to bring my kid I wouldn’t be going.

I allowed ladies of all ages.  I wanted girls only.  My 2 year old niece was the youngest there.

We invited all of the children but most didn’t bring them. One friend did because he was only two months old, and then our nieces and nephews were there.

If they were still being breastfed then yes and also family like my niece and nephew. I’m just having a bid family bbq baby shower and all the husbands are allowed and so I don’t really care if people bring their kids. But that is just what I am doing lol! If I was having a more traditional shower then I wouldn’t want kids lol😂

My daughter who is 17 months came to mine, as well a my friends 16 month old, my daughters 15 month old cousin. And plenty of other kids were there 2 and under. All I told the parents was if your bringing your child your in charge of your child the entire time and if things got out of hand they would be asked to leave.

Depends if the shower is kid friendly and where it's held. I had my kids at my shower and everything was already prepared in case other kids came along. I didn't mind. It's all personal choice really.
