Swing that goes side to side?

So originally we were gifted a graco glider swing like this:

Our baby is now 6 weeks old and does not seem to like it much. I think she would like one that goes from side to side instead of just back and forth. Any suggestions of one that you use that your baby liked? FYI we already have a rock n play as well. Not a huge fan 😔. I got a picky baby 🤣.

I would actually just not buy one. Many babies get too used to them and then they develop poor sleeping habits. They also can be dangerous. I haven’t use a swing or other contraption like it since I had my first born. I gave my swing away before I had my second baby because I didn’t really use it or need it. Babies are just babies for a short time. They grow out of these things quickly.

My son hated the swing and the rock and play. He was a bouncer man. But he wanted the bouncer on high speed. He needed an aggressive bounce. He’s 2 now and loves anything fast especially amusement park rides.

If he doesn’t like the rock n’play either, it might just be that he doesn’t like the rocking motion period. Try a bouncer instead.
