Yesterday I had my regular monthly OB appt and they asked if I had done my Alpha Fetoprotein (AFP) screening which I did about a month ago through Quest Labs. I find out yesterday that Quest is claiming that I never gave them the script so they didn’t perform that test and now I’m too far along to redraw bloods for it. I’m sure everything is fine as I have no family history and baby boy’s spine looks great in all of the scans but I’ve been to this lab twice and they’ve messed up BOTH times! It would have been nice to know whether or not I have markers a genetic spinal condition!
