Is it wrong to have a crush on a mentally handicapped person?

So this guy I work with is mentally handicapped. He’s fully aware and functional, he just has a speech impediment and can’t read big words. The barrier is there but it’s small. I just feel weird about it a little bit because some people may call it “taking advantage” and I’m just wondering what your thoughts and opinions are.

Not at all. A friend of mine (who isn’t disabled) actually just married her bd of years who was born with cerebral palsy. They make an adorable couple and are so in love

Im just saying i absolutely love this post. Most people saf to say wouldnt even admit to having feelings .. I on the other hand feel if you like someone you like then no matter race, gender , or illnesses or mentally handicapped. I say go for it ! (: not wrong at all.
