6 month old screaming for attention??

Question

My 6 month old has recently started screaming this loud, high-pitched scream when she's frustrated and/or wants attention.
I don't want to enforce this behavior but I don't know if she's still too young to start thinking about that. Should I ignore her when she screams? Attend to her?

If all of her basic needs are met she either is just generally uncomfortable or discovered her voice.

She’s probably just bored, and found a new sound to communicate to you. I have a 6mo too, I used to be able to leave him to play on the floor while I got stuff done, but now he wants sooo much attention, so I give it to him. At this age, it’s not reinforcing bad behavior
