Healing time?

Question

So I'm in the military and going on maternity leave so I get 3 months off, I want to get my septum pierced. Will it be healed before I have to go back and can't wear it in uniform?

I flipped my septum piecing up right away when I had mine done because I was 16 and hiding it from my parents. It healed fine, though it's probably best to give it a few weeks. I'd also give yourself time to heal for a while after having the baby too since your body will be going through so much to heal from all of that and if you are breastfeeding some piercers won't take you until you are done bf. Just some food for thought.

I know someone in the af with a septum piercing, he just flips it up inside I don't know is 3 months is long enough of healing time to move your septum piercing around like that though. I have a regular nose piercing and it took a good few months to heal and would get aggravated at the  smallest tugs
