EX incarcerated friend??

Hey guys I was just wondering if I should write my old friend who is incarcerated? We kinda left off on bad terms but I let her know I didn’t have a problem with her stuff just should have been handled differently but the past is the past. But she was just recently in some trouble that didn’t turn out good. (When does trouble ever do?!) and I was just curious if I should write her as I been wanting too since I found out 2 days ago. I’ve been contemplating since then. Thanks
