How long did you have spotting after getting an IUD?

Hi everyone! I just got the paragard IUD two days ago and the cramps have all but stopped. However, I’ve been having pretty consistent spotting. 
I’m wondering how long this spotting lasted for people, not including the start of your first period with the IUD. Was your spotting for a couple days? A week? A month??

I spotted for about 5 weeks EVERY DAY after it was inserted!!☹️ 
after that I’ve gotten all 3 of my periods (I’m on the fourth month of having it) and I don’t really spot in between them. 
Everyone experiences something different with the IUD. ♥️

I just got mine in on Monday! I'm still spotting and it is like watery with streaks of red. I've heard it can be a while before it stops. 😑

I didnt spot at all after I got mine inserted. But spotting can last for the first 6 months.
