Do you find a baby carrier necessary?

Question

A friend told me she barely ever used hers. I’m hesitant to buy one because they are so expensive and and I have a lot of back/neck problems due to having very large breasts. 
I’m curious if you guys find it to be a must have item! And if you do - what brands are your favorites? Thanks!

It was a necessity. I wore that kid everywhere 😂 and now that I'm having a second there's no way in hell I am going to survive without one. But not everyone knows how to use them properly, not every baby enjoys them, and not every carrier is comfortable. It's definitely personal preference, but I wore him from newborn to 3 years.

I used both a wrap and an Ergo structured carrier. My squish loved both. If you want to try the different types before you buy, see if you have an international babywearing club in your area. You can check out carriers from them, and the training members can show you how to use them properly.

Yes, I wore it around the house to do chores... baby loved skin to skin contact so it was defiantly worth it for me! Didn’t use it out the house but inside it was a god send.

All the time.  I hate strollers, babywearing is so much easier for me.  I have a lillibaby and a moby wrap.  The moby is more flexible, but the lillibaby has great lumbar support.

I didn’t with my first. She hated it. I used it a few times when she could face our. I’ll probs use one more this time since I’ll have a newborn and 3yo.

Nope. I’d rather use the stroller. Or bring the car seat for doctor appointments. 
I did buy one and rarely used it. The amount of money I paid for it and used it no more than 10 times. And When I did happen to use it my son hated it.

It depends. Some people are avid baby wearers and some are not! If you would really like to give it a shot, look into Lillebaby. They come with lumbar support. They also have sales all the time so you can get a complete for a reasonable price
