Have you adjusted or changed how you work after becoming pregnant?

Universal precautions is an obvious #1 rule but do you do anything beyond that simply because you are pregnant?

Im 19+1 today and I was working at my clinic job doing one of many patient intakes, i also do swabs and run in house tests. Well we saw and I both roomed and swabbed a patient that ended up testing positive for A and B flu. Which means that i was exposed to it.

I already have my flu shot and again, i used universal precaution but the patient was not exhibiting what you would call typical flu symptoms so we didnt do droplet precautions or anything like that.

I know i cannot eliminate exposure risks but is there anything specific that you ladies do to reduce risks?
