Bedsharing and transitioning to crib

Sa

Does anyone bedshare still? I have found life is much easier sharing a bed with my nearly 4 month old since he has been mostly an every 2 hours eater since birth. His bilirubin was high so he got used to eating that often and never really stopped. Sharing a bed, he never cries or even wakes up. He just starts rooting when hes hungry, so I pop him on and we both sleep. He can go up to 6 hours without eating at night and mostly just breastfeeds for comfort. He doesn't take a bottle or paci. I am wanting to transition him to his own bed soon, but not sure how to start. Any advice?
