Fighting to take medicine

So my daughter has always taken medicine great..even yesterday she did fine. This morning though was a complete fight..idk if it's because she still feels.crappy and was tired or what...but I feel like she didnt get enough because some of it came.out of her mouth...for a 1 yr old she sure is strong! My husband is taking her to the Dr tomorrow and I'm sure they will give her something too but now I need to figure out how to make sure she gets it especially if only one of us is here with her.
