Would you date or be with someone who’s killed before?

I’m just curious about an answer. I see women in documentaries and in life who choose to be with someone despite their ugly past. Like women who choose to stay with serial killers or marry them in jail. Also I’ve read stories of women who choose to stay with cartel members who have obviously killed people, or gang members. And the closest to home, my mom was with a psycho for 8 years, who fled from his original country because he got drunk and ran someone over. Killing them. Would you or have you ever been with someone with an ugly ugly past? Does it ever weigh on you? Is it right or wrong to give people like that’s second chance?
