Aspirin and pregnancy

Expecting _mom_4

During my last pregnancy I was diagnosed with preeclampsia. I was induced at 37 weeks and had really bad hemorrhaging afterwards. After talking to my OBGYN she mentioned I would be high risk next pregnancy and that I would take aspirin to avoid high blood pressure the next go round. That being said I know aspirin increases the risk of birth defects. We are going to start trying the end of the year. Our baby will be 11 months. Can anyone tell me about second pregnancies after being diagnosed with preeclampsia?
