TTC with older man- late period

Hello.. I am TTC My first child a little over 2 years now, with a man 16 years older than me (I’m 29 he’s 45) I am currently 8 days late and took a $1 pregnancy test 4 days ago. I did not look to see a faint line and assumed since a bold line wasn’t there it was negative.

I do not have any period symptoms like I usually do and I am not nauseas. Also my period has never been late over a week.

Anyone else have any similar stories? If so please say the outcome.

BTW.. I bought a clear blue test for tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed.
