Clomid

Hello ladies!

I have irregular periods my doctor put me on 10 days of progesterone I got my period last Thursday. She also prescribed me Clomid for 5 days and told me to start taking them on day 5 of my cycle. I’ve noticed yesterday around noonish my period was light and not a medium flow ( thought it was weird because when i do get my period it’s usually lasts about 7 days. Anyways i took clomid day 1 just before i went to bed, woke up today with just a slightly period ( not much blood) and I was just wondering like do i continue to take clomid with out my period or does it have to be during my cycle? Im a lil confused!
