Advice?

I’m 17 and a ftm..I’m 40w and 1d pregnant and am scheduled for my c-section tomorrow morning...my baby’s estimated weight is 10 pounds and 7 ounces... 😣 I’m so scared they’re gonna mess up😩 iv never had surgery before so I don’t know what to do or think!

As what everyone else said. Trick is to get up and moving as soon as you can. Also, take the stool softeners. Those will be your friend while those and heal. 
Advil was my go to after my first c-section as the anti inflimation properties were the best.

I just had my first one and I know exactly how you feel, I was terrified of having a csection (I had my first two natural) and my third was 9 lbs 2 oz.
Take advantage of the help from the nurses and make sure they get you one of those girdles! That thing was a must have! It kept my incision from anything rubbing on it and made my belly feel secure. 
Do not twist or turn and like I said before make sure you have the nurses help with everything in the beginning because your legs will feel so unsteady. 
Another thing I can tell you is get up and get moving as soon as you can. You will be extremely sore but the sooner you get moving the quicker your body will heal. 
And make sure you stay ahead of the pain. I got mad at a couple of the nurses because they were extremely late with my pain pills and it didn’t take much for that pain to come rushing back. 
Good luck girl you will be fine, remember these doctors do tons of these.

My first baby was born via c-section. She was 9 lbs 7.5 oz. I had labored with Pitocin for 27 hours beforehand so I hadn’t eaten anything. When they were getting ready for the surgery, I started to have so many nerves that I felt like getting sick. My anesthesiologist was fantastic. He gave me Zofran which took all nausea away. 
Like Laura said above my comment, talk to your nurses/doctors. They can help you manage the pain. 
Some practical tips: pack slippers/clogs, sweatpants, and high waisted underwear. As soon as you feel able try to walk but don’t over do it. My daughter was born at 12:15 am and I did a lap around the wing around 5 am. I was also super swollen after surgery so I drank a lot of water to help combat that. 
When you go home, try propping pillows so you can sleep. I couldn’t lay down flat for a few weeks. 
Most importantly, give yourself time to heal and enjoy your baby. I hope this helps you and eases some of your anxiety. :)

I had an emergency c-section for my first, everything was happening so fast and my spinal wouldn't take so I had to be put to sleep. It was scary BUT it's a great advantage for you to be planned and to take it as a good experience. My second was planned and it went great, both went great actually, no complications, but the emergency with the first was just really intense! During your planned c-section, you will be so overcome by the emotion of meeting your baby, nothing else will matter, I mean yes nerves are always there, but they will take great care of you! ☺️ your doing this for your baby!

Getting up and moving as soon as you feel you can is the best advice... I had an emergency (4am & lost my son) and they didn't get me up and walking until like 36 hours later, they got me up and into a wheelchair around like 8am the next morning for a CT scan wondering why I was so bloated (cause of not walking forever!) and I took my painkiller every single time they offered it, but i wish they would have gotten me up sooner so I could have tried to get use to it, never had a bowel movement until my 4th day in the hositpal I was 20 mins from being discharged and I spent 40 mins on the toilet finally having a painfully long BM. But don't let what I say frighten you, my experience won't reflect how yours will be, I hope it goes smoothly and that you feel better quicker after it. You will be fine. I just had my third and final child via csection two weeks ago. I also was very scared and emotional even though I knew what to expect since I had my other two children via csection as well. I just told my nurses and anesthesiologist my concerns and they all made sure I was comfortable. After they numbed me I was able to finally stop crying and calm down. My advice is just to talk to your nurses about your concerns. They will make sure you are comfortable and remember it will be worth it once you see your baby! Good luck!
