Ovulation bleeding or early period

Can you have bleeding during your ovulation dates? Last period I logged was January 29th through February 3rd. not supposed to start my next period till February 28th. My ovulation date was yesterday so my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex last night (we always do) and I’m not on birth control. We do the pull out method. Lol but last night I have light brown mucus discharge and this morning barely anything. Just very little brown discharge.. I guess my question is is it normal to bleed during ovulation? TIA give me tips lol
