So my husband overall before pregnancy has always been soooo amazing, truly the perfect husband he takes care of me, surprises me with little gifts and thoughtful gestures all the time, he’s so sweet and is my rock. We planned this pregnancy perfectly, and we were so excited when I got pregnant. I’m 6w4d right now. He was so happy when I told him I was pregnant.

For some reason I don’t feel he’s acting like I’m pregnant or like we’re going to have a baby. He doesn’t bring up the subject much unless I do, he hasn’t really done anything like research or shown any true interest in our baby. He hasn’t done anything against it at all, he just hasn’t acted like it’s actually happening. I’m super surprised and kinda bummed because I expected something completely different from him since he’s always been so sweet prior to. I ask him all the time if he’s excited and he says yes and of course etc.

Have any of you experienced this with your partners? Do you think it just hasn’t hit him yet or he’s in denial? It worries me a little, I hope he’ll be into this pregnancy and baby as much as I am since it’s a team effort. I noticed I talk less about the baby and pregnancy now since I don’t think he’s that into it :(
