Mums who “failed to progress” in first labour

I hate that term. “Failure to progress” as if WE failed. 🤨

But mums of 1 or more, what is your experience of your other labours if you “failed to progress” during your first? Did you have a c-section because of it? And have you ever tried to labour and deliver since?

I had an emergency csection first time. Didn’t get past 2cm but was only on a hormone drip for about 12 hours so I wish I could’ve had more time had it not been for baby not managing very well with it we had to get him out.

Now I am having number 2, the thought of another section makes me cringe. The pain was immense for me. And I just want to have an idea of if I will ever dilate at all?
