Homesick?

I just got married this past Saturday. We honeymooned Saturday-Tuesday. Last night was our first night in our home together, and I cried off and on because of homesickness. I feel like a total loser! Will this go away? Is it normal? We’re still in the same hometown, and I’m only 10 minutes away from my parents but man it feels like I am forever away. Help!!

I wasn’t like that at my wedding because I had lived with my hubby for 4 years already.
But I remember moving out, the first 6 months was hard & i only lived down the road from my parents lol 😂 I called them and went to see them regularly. It went away with time lol

Normal! I cried on our wedding day honeymoon 😅 it goes away I promise! I went to my parents house every day when we got back when my husband was at work lol.

I would say it is pretty normal! It is a huge change to suddenly be married and living in a new place. It takes a bit to settle no matter how happy and in love you are with you new husband. I got married when I was 19 and moved in with my husband. His place was 40 min from my parents and sisters. We have now been married 6 years and have 2 boys. I am never more comfortable and at home as when I am with him. 😀

Girl it is completely normal. I got married in October and i was definitely homesick at first but now when i do spend the night at my parents house due to weather or different reasons i feel homesick when im away from my husband but when i first got married i was definitely homesick and cried.
