bv & prescribed metronidazole gel?

Im currently 13+3 and haven’t had any spotting whatsoever. I do have bv and was prescribed the gel. last night was the first night I took it and now this morning I have brown thin discharge. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if it’s normal or if I should talk to my doctor? i’m a little worried

I haven’t had that happen before but brown blood is old blood so that’s a good sign. Probably totally normal. The gel is probably just grabbing on to old blood up there and it’s coming out along with the gel. I think it’s fine but if you’re worried I would call the dr for peace of mind.
