Labor Help!‼️

So, to start off.. I’m 38w 3d and have been in early labor since Sunday . At 12am I had painful contractions that were consistent and on top of each other. (I have been 2cm dilated 60% effaced since that Sunday L&D visit) but 7 hrs later today my contractions slowed and I only progressing to 3cm 70% effaced so home I went . I just now lost my mucus plug , did anyone have this happen and have labor kick in and start progressing.

Side note: I know mucus plugs regenerate and all that and it could still me hours or days. Just want to hear everybody’s experiences with this.
