How often does your pee get tested?

I've only had my pee tested ones during this pregnancy and that was for a pregnancy test at my drs office. Since then I haven't had it tested is this normal I'm 26 weeks.
Should I question my dr on why my pee isn't being tested?

My OB was doing it at every appointment up until recently. I asked why they stopped and was informed that the newest studies have shown that it’s not necessary to test urine UNLESS the patient has high blood pressure. They take my blood pressure first and if it’s high then they’ll collect my urine to see if there’s protein in it but my blood pressure has been really great so there’s no need to test my urine. Apparently high blood pressure is the first and most important sign of preeclampsia. 
It’s probably the same for your doctor! But you should always feel comfortable asking your doctor anything and everything. It made me feel great that my doctor was so up to date on the newest studies!

If your blood pressure is perfect, there’s no real reason to test.

Every appointment to make sure I don’t have signs of preeclampsia like protein or glucose in urine. I’m 38+2 and still get it tested

They should ask for a urine sample every appointment to make sure your levels are rising, to check for protein in urine, a uti, etc. that’s pretty odd and I’d ask about it

I do a self test at every appointment for protein in urine, they send my urine for testing once a trimester due to previous kidney problems during pregnancy.
