Has anyone ever left there SO because they couldn’t deal with his family?

Have you ever left / broke up with a SO because you couldn’t stand or deal with his /her horrible family / Or one family member? Or have you ever thought about leaving them because of that? Even though they are great and you loved them.

No I didn’t because he’s always on my side about it. It was my MIL. If he wasn’t on my side about her, I probably couldn’t have handled her.

I did years ago. About 1 year into my marriage, but my hubby stood in the background without doing anything when there were problems between his mom and I. After I left he promised to change and not allow it anymore....10 years later I’ve seen him change his point of views and understand where I am coming from when things have become problematic between in laws and I. I now know I’m fully supported by my hubby.
