so i have been having an issue for months and im really embarrassed to talk to my partner about the fact that my vagina doesnt get wet. im turned on, i WANT to do it but sex gets painful for me after a while because im not wet enough, and he constantly uses spit or will try and go down on me repeatedly and nothing works. i dont know what im doing wrong or why i cant get wet and im only 18. we dont just go straight to sex either we always have a while of foreplay and im just so stressed out because sex doesnt even feel good anymore, im so dry and i dont know why. pls help

Try and get out of your head. Sometimes when you are overthinking or over analyzing it’ll be hard for you to get/stay wet. You can always use lube too.

Definitely talk to your doctor about it but lube will help. You want to get a water based one. You can get it right at Walmart or spencers if you're embarrassed to go to a sex shop.

Sometimes, thinking about it will cause you not to get wet. I, personally, don't have this problem but it sounds painful. You really should talk to your partner though and let them in on what's going on. Its probably something he can fix.
