Is there anywhere safe to kiss a baby?

My SIL & BIL are a bit intimidating to me, so I wanted to get some information before I asked them what they were comfortable with. My nephew is three months old. I’m dying to kiss his little face, but know I shouldn’t. Is it safe to kiss his hands, or like the top of his head? Can I give him Eskimo kisses, or is that risky too? I don’t want to do anything that could potentially hurt him. Am I being paranoid?

Personally I didn’t want ppl kissing my baby anywhere on his face, hands or feet (he used to put his fingers and toes in his mouth). Top of the head, belly and legs are ok to kiss in my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️

I wouldn't kiss anywhere that could go in his mouth or be rubbed and then go in his mouth. Top of his head is probably the best bet.

I don't think there's an exact answer to this as its all up to the parents. Just ask then what they think. I wanted family to wait until after his first shots (2 months).
