My boyfriend (22) and I (20) have been together for a little over a year, he’s temporarily living with his dad and sister in the city (close to his job) and I’m living with my mom (close to my job) while we are apartment searching near him.

He always stays with me on the weekends because 1. He hates living there and 2. it’s a given that I’m not welcome there.

His dad never says Hi to ME!! I smile and say hi every time I see him and he won’t even turn his head. I feel like an absolute idiot. Why try anymore?

He was in the hospital recently and I went to visit him with my bf and even offered to help around the house when my bf and his sister are at work.

Gotta give to get right? It’s a two way street buddy. I’m DONE. I’ll be civil and adult, but I’ll be damned if I make a fool of myself being nice anymore.

On the plus side I love his mom.🤷🏻‍♀️😂
