Yesterday I posted that I went to L&D due to a fall—that was caused by me slipping on ice—everything turned out fine and we got to hear our sweet baby for a couple of hours! We called my mom and MIL. My MIL was super comforting and nice. My mom started bashing me for moving up north (they are in Texas) and how I should have listened to her when she told me to move down to have my baby in Texas..? I was like hmmm, I have a very good job here, so does my husband and we have our home here. I don’t understand why she was upset that I didn’t “listen” (her plan of action was never an option and doesn’t make sense at all). It’s like she was correlating an accidental fall with her despise that I am not having this baby in Texas?
