Bladder issues

So after I had my sweet baby girl I started having bladder problems.

I wasn’t able to void all the way, after I was sent home from the hospital from having her I was taken back because my right leg was numb and I couldn’t walk because I was in so much pain.

They did an ultrasound to check for blood clots, and then a cat scan to see what was going on. They needed a urine but I couldn’t go and had told them I hadn’t been able to go all day.

Turns out I had bladder retention from my epidural and my bladder blew up. They cathed me and then sent me home on a cath for 3 days.

Here we are 2 weeks later after I got the cath out and I’m STILL having pains when using the restroom. It feels almost like a Uti but my dr did a culture and it came back fine.

I was wondering if anyone else on here had this happen and if so how long the pain lasted after. I just really hope this pain I’m feeling doesn’t last the rest of my life.
