So I’ve been bleeding dark red and brown since Wednesday. Not heavy and super small clots on Thursday but not since. I had bloodwork Thursday and it was at 23 😢 I am assuming a miscarriage but I have been exhausted and started being nauseous yesterday and today. That’s the same way I started morning sickness with my other two. I am so so confused at what’s going on!! I just needed to vent a little. I hate this. I am either 4 weeks today or 5weeks 6 days. No one seems to know 100%.

This is the colour it’s been since Wednesday. From what I hear it should be bright red to be a miscarriage??

Hello. Sorry to hear about what you’re going through. It’s not always bright red when you are miscarrying. It always being bright seems to be a dangerous myth spreading through this app but yes, bright red is usually more concerning. I assume from your comment that your doctor has checked you out already? I think unfortunately it’s just a case of waiting and seeing what happens. The cause could indeed be something else and it is often quite hard to diagnose a MC and doctors are now told to not rush into it in case it isn’t. I hope everything turns out ok :) x
