Nuvaring placed 12 days after period ended
Hello, I recently got the nuvaring and I placed it today, 12 days after my period ended. Will it still work correctly or should I have waited for my next period to place the ring? I know it takes 7 days before the ring is effective; however, I didn’t want to wait until after my next period to place it, because me and my boyfriend dislike condoms. That would mean weeks of condom use, and it would not be enjoyable for either of us.
