Took a pregnancy test 2 days ago came back negative, period isn’t due for another 2 days though, but my breasts have been very sore, my boyfriend and I have both noticed that the area around my nipples has gotten darker is this possible before a missed period or a positive test?

Been 8 months of trying, I just really want to give my 5 year old daughter a sibling, my boyfriend is a awesome step dad but I know he really wants one of his own 😣
