Weird spotting question

Okay this is gonna sound weird- however I am just over 4 weeks pregnant - close to 5- and I thought my toilet paper looked weird so i inserted a tampon and out right away and there was some blood on it. Not a lot but it was there. But all day long nothing showed up and then tonight I did the tampon thing again and some more blood. Again- nothing coming on toilet paper — yet— but visible brownish/ light pink blood on tampon. Has anyone done this? What is happening ? I have a history of miscarriages so obviously I’m concerned.
