Skipping on the pill?

Hey ladies!

I need some help with something? In April I have to go and dog sit a family members (not very close) dog for about two weeks and most of the two weeks I would have my period because I am that heavy on the pill still! I have switched pills plenty of times and still cannot get my periods under 8-9 days!! I was hoping to be able to skip it since I won’t be in the comfort of my own home and I bleed so extremely heavy. Are skipping the inactive pills safe to do? Will I get my withdrawal bleeding the next month when I take the inactive pills again? Thank you!!
